Billie M. Castle offers legal services related to estate planning, disability planning, Medicaid, probates, trusts and wills. Her approach with her clients is both personal and professional.
Billie has 14 years of legal experience in Western Colorado and is recognized by the National Elder Law Foundation as a Certified Elder Law Attorney. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and former chairwoman of the CBA Elder Law Committee. In addition, Billie is accredited by the Department of Veteran's Affairs. She has written numerous articles on estate planning, Medicaid and trusts for local and national publications. She is a frequent guest speaker on these topics.
A native of Western Colorado, Billie graduated summa cum laude from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. After completing her undergraduate degree, she graduated magna cum laude from the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. She completed law school ranked second academically in her class. While attending Willamette, Billie served on the law review and worked as a clerk for the Marion County District Attorney’s Office.
Carrie West, paralegal, brings 35 years of legal experience to the firm. Carrie has worked with Billie since Billie began practicing law in 1998. Carrie completed the legal assistant program at Colorado Mesa University in December 1986. She became a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants in May 1987 and is authorized to use the designation CP.
Janet Williams is the newest member to join the firm. She is a graduate of the paralegal studies program offered through Colorado Mesa University and the Center for Legal Studies. Since completing the paralegal program in 2005, Janet has been working in the legal field. She has been a resident of Grand Junction for 15 years. |
